When you would use this
Removing pages is usually about what should not be sent. A fee schedule inside a proposal that is going to a subcontractor. A blank separator sheet the scanner produced. An internal note stapled to the back of something a client asked for.
You see the pages, which is the whole point. Deleting by typing page numbers is what the split tool already does, and it assumes you know which number the offending page is. Usually you do not — you know what it looks like. Thumbnails turn the job from counting into recognising.
The trade is that every page has to be rendered in your browser before you can see it, so a long document takes a moment to lay out. A tool that uploaded your file would feel faster, and it would have your file. On the kind of document people bring here — proposals, contracts, scans of signed things — that is not a good exchange.
Deleting pages does not shrink the file proportionally. Fonts and images are shared across a PDF and stay while anything still uses them, so dropping half a document rarely halves its size. If size is the actual goal, compress it afterwards.
As with splitting and merging: interactive form fields generally do not survive being copied into a new document, and a digital signature certainly will not — it covers the file it was applied to and stops being valid the moment that file changes. If a signed PDF has to stay verifiable, do not edit it at all.
